August Will Bring New Opportunities, Prosperity and Greater Progress – ASTOPU, Umuahia Zonal Chairman, Comrade Chinweotito Godson Appolos Says
The Chairman of the Abia State Tricycle Operators Union (ASTOPU), Umuahia Zone, Comrade Chinweotito Godson Appolos, has welcomed members of the union, commuters, transport stakeholders, and the people of Abia State to the month of August, urging them to embrace the new month with renewed hope, unity, discipline, and determination.
In his New Month goodwill message, Comrade Appolos expressed profound gratitude to Almighty God for preserving the lives of members and granting them the privilege of witnessing another month. He described August as a season of fresh beginnings, greater opportunities, and renewed possibilities for individuals, families, and the union.
The ASTOPU Umuahia Zonal Chairman encouraged tricycle operators to remain committed to professionalism, discipline, and quality service delivery, emphasizing that these values are essential to strengthening public confidence in the transport sector and sustaining the progress of the union.
He noted that the new month presents another opportunity for members to work harder, remain law-abiding, and contribute positively to the continued development of the transportation system in Abia State.
Comrade Appolos prayed for divine protection, good health, increased patronage, financial prosperity, and lasting peace for every tricycle operator and their families. He expressed optimism that August would usher in new achievements, open doors, and abundant blessings for all members of the union.
Reaffirming his commitment to the welfare of members, the ASTOPU Umuahia Zone Chairman pledged to continue providing purposeful leadership that prioritizes unity, transparency, and the collective interests of the union.
He also reiterated the union’s readiness to sustain constructive collaboration with the Abia State Government and relevant stakeholders in advancing a more organized, peaceful, and efficient transport sector.
He further appealed to members to obey traffic regulations, maintain their tricycles in good condition, treat passengers with courtesy and respect, and uphold the values of integrity and responsibility that define ASTOPU Umuahia Zone.
Comrade Appolos concluded by wishing all members, their families, valued passengers, and the people of Abia State a peaceful, productive, and prosperous month of August, expressing confidence that the new month would bring renewed hope, greater accomplishments, and lasting success to everyone.
